Postcards from a better day: part 6

Grey suits and funky teapots
There are several reasons why this photograph was deemed as an outtake. I wanted it to work but the composition is off, yet I'm still compelled to look at it. The articulate hands, the posture of the two men facing each other, engaged in conversation, the grey suits and bright colours of the teapots—I like these bits. I'd just liked to have been able to include a bit more of the man on the left. He needs a shoulder or two. I was rather close and they wouldn't keep still. But, this is sketching. As with street photography, this kind of candid shot depends on serendipity to bring the perfect moment into view. And sometimes that just doesn't happen.

I still love it though, you can invent stories for them, I love that they are almost dressed indentically.
