I had a hospital appointment this afternoon and I'd hoped to do a bit of homework afterwards but it wasn't to be. I took myself to a very, very late lunch, making a few photographs en route. I'm trying to get the hang of zone focusing and all that hyperfocal stuff—the tried and true method of street photographers. Nothing was in focus. How disappointing. But I did get some photos of the near-deserted café using *my* tried and true technique of letting the camera do the thinking by switching to autofocus.

Great shot and if that's your method then all well and good. If it ain't broke don't fix it. It's your 'eye' that counts :O)
