Breaking the rules

Cat with attitude and dirty laundry

Some time ago I wrote that the typical ME photography fare of cats and the wistful gazing from windows wasn't for me. And then someone promptly un-friended me. I'm not sure who, and I'm not even sure why, or whether it was because I broke some ME-related commandment like Thou shalt not offend the emotionally labile, or whatever. But I do take cat photos. This is one I took today, so just for once I'll break my own rule.

Fabulous - and I like that the laundry is dark and a touch exotic-looking.

Know just what you mean. I call it the 'kitten and roses' syndrome...those paintings you get at local art clubs: kitty with bad squint next to a bowl of roses that look like red cabbages :O)

Tis a beautiful pusscat ...like a Winstanely

Rules (even one's own) are made to be broken !

Kittens and roses! Oh, I like that one. I can imagine the sort of paintings you mean. Like a nightmare birthday card from some bygone era of shillings in the gas meter and The People's Friend.

Photos of cats are just fine by me, it's the intent/attitude of the photographer that counts!
