I've never done one of those photo-a-day challenges and I've never actually taken part in SoFoBoMo where you shoot 35 photos and present as a book within a calendar month. I've always liked the 26 Things idea—26 photos within a calendar month, each image an interpretation of a single word—but I've never actually completed it.
But I have my own idea—take a photo every day with the iPhone and blog it. The usual no-rules rule applies. There isn't even a 'No Cats' rule. I just have to do it. Straight from the phone. I'm going to aim for one photo a day for one calendar month and see how it goes.

I look forward to this project! And I dig the half cat below.
I like the image
I hate energy-saving lightbulbs
Thank you for your words of encouragement, nmj.
Cusp, I can't stand those energy saving lightbulbs either and the horrible light they give off.
After I took this photo, I saw the lightbulb metaphor as in *oh, I've got an idea* but also as a PWME scratching around for a project that would be achievable, I also realised that whatever I do has to be within my energy budget. Whether this was a subconscious thing or not, I don't know, but it's a good image to start with and I can use it as a sort of logo for the project.
