I've made it to half term! At times I've thought that this is crazy, what on earth was I thinking, etc etc, and yes, I have thought of giving it all up but here I am, still soldiering on, riding on the relentless ebb and flow of my energy levels. But then, I knew it would be like this. As for posting a photo a day … ahahaha!! The best laid plans of mice and men could never measure up to the plans of a PWME.
Today, we went out in the car as I needed to go to the cash machine and as our 'homework' for half term is landscape photography, I thought I'd take the opportunity to tackle the urban landscape. It's more about getting some camera practice and keeping the eye working. I've never done landscape photography as it involves too much walking and stupid things like hiking up hills and getting up to catch the sunrise … and I'm not about to start either, I can tell you! So, I took this photo of the Shard which is beginning to tower over London Bridge Station - an increasingly dominating fixture on the ever-changing London skyline.

Oh I like this...like the intersection of the lines. Never heard of the Shard. That's the other reason I like to drop by here because I never get to London now (last time was about 11 years ago) so there are lots of new things I've never seen. Used to work in an office that looked right over London Bridge....could never have imagined this. Who'd 'ave thunk it :O) ?
Well done for keeping on with course
Delighted to see you coming back to it, Digi. Riding on the ebb and flow of energy - yes, yes. I do the same thing - commit to projects with demands I can't possibly meet. But on the other hand, sometimes I do. And so do you, and here is the evidence.
